Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.

Scratch starts at a level where you , the student, can feel instantly successful as a programmer. You set design goals for your projects, you deal with logic and have to problem-solve to fix program bugs. As a student programmer, you collaborate, cooperate, and co-teach.

As a final step, each programmer will share and compare their scratch project with other students by doing a programmer walk through the computer lab. If you see some technical coding another student used that you are unsure of, take the time to talk to the programmer so you can understand Scratch. Enjoy!
